Meeting locations in town have included:
  • the Impark parking lot at Georgia & Cardero, adjacent to the White Spot restaurant
  • the corner of Fir St. & 10th Ave., just off Broadway (we used old VSB parking lot until recent construction)
  • the McDonald's restaurant at 3695 Lougheed Hwy (E.Broadway) and Boundary Road
  • the McDonald's restaurant at 515 North Road in Coquitlam, just north of Austin Road (across from Lougheed Mall bus loop)
  • the McDonald's restaurant at 3450 E.Hastings (at Cassiar, just off #1 Hwy) (meet inside).
We almost always have plenty of cars, and usually leave some cars in town to save gas and minimize parking congestion at trailheads and pubs. Passengers should contribute some gas money to drivers (ask yourself how much a round-trip bus ride would cost).

If you are a control freak, or need to get back to town real quick after a hike, or don't want to go to a pub afterwards, then bring your own transport.
